Especially for mouse and katamingo
This is the quilt currently on my design wall - inspired by Eleanor Burns' Summer Porch pattern, made with Pine Creek Crossing Layer Cake, Charm Pack, and Red Rooster Quinte Essentials for the sashing. I'm thinking of calling it 'Thru the Woods' Summer Porch - not quite! |

Well, golly gee guys  Thanks for your kind words! I was chatting with mouse and kat last night, and threw the picture up so they could see what I was talking about. Below is a current picture of how far it's come (and yes, I do need that step ladder to get to the top blocks LOL!)
This started out as the same kit for the throw I've already finished: http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/16968.page I've just re-arranged it a bit and threw in a fabric for the sashing. I just can't leave well enough alone; gotta tweak and change things around! There will be a sashing of the pane fabric all around, and the outer border will be the same fabric as the throw. Terri, omak and Blue Bell - by the time I get done with this one, I may just be so tired of the fabric that I'm ready to send it on  I imagine I'll have to fight DH for it, though  All the blocks are sashed except for the 4 patches - they are smaller and have to have different sashing sizes. Very, very nice!!!! :D

love the colors - i have this pattern - wanted to do it in batiks

*** Well, as long as it is going to have a good home, I won't worry so much <g>! |
I like I like

I LOVE IT!!! Some of my favorite colors are in there!! You do such awesome work!! Now, just DON'T go near it with Dr. Pepper and all will be fine :P
Hurry and finish this one!! Can't wait to see it all done. |

I like it too :-)
Someday I hope to have a design wall, for now I have a flannel backed tablecloth that I tack from the top of the door to my sewing room/spare bedroom. I take it down when I don't have a quilt in the works. It's only the size of door, but it does help me as I go along with a design. |

*** Well, as long as it is going to have a good home, I won't worry so much <g>! When I first started in chat rooms <g>, a long, long time ago <sigh> all expressions were done just like that ... between the arrow marks ... I have done it for so long that the thought of popping up to the little smilies rarely crosses my mind. But, they are happy little fellows, aren't they? :?: I did the <g> because I don't LOL much ... most of the responses were just <g> and, I even remember practicing using the shift key and the letter things to make 8-PPPP <that is me sticking my tongue out) I still want a smilie that CELEBRATES! But, then ... I guess I am old enough to not die from my wants, eh? LOL |

thanks for the info omak! I bet there is a smiley out there that throws confetti. I've seen a lot of things, done with them.
I type lol, a lot, and I really do laugh out loud on here, A LOT! I guess, it was from not laughing as a kid, making up for it, now! Hubby is funnier, and makes me much funnier, than the ppl I lives with, back then. |
I like!
|
Well??? Is it done yet Roben?? :P
|
I choose to keep you in suspense (which is a nice way of saying several things  , but in this instance we'll assume it means "of course not, silly!")
|
Like your pattern Roben. I am using the Pine Creek Crossing in the Pioneer BOM. Very manly.
|
Very nice, Roben. I like the muted colors
I also appreciate the info on the <g>. |
What beautiful fabrics and a great pattern. I love the name you have chosen too.
