Especially for mouse and katamingo

This is the quilt currently on my design wall - inspired by Eleanor Burns' Summer Porch pattern, made with Pine Creek Crossing Layer Cake, Charm Pack, and Red Rooster Quinte Essentials for the sashing. I'm thinking of calling it 'Thru the Woods'

    Summer Porch - not quite!

Well, golly gee guys  Thanks for your kind words! I was chatting with mouse and kat last night, and threw the picture up so they could see what I was talking about. Below is a current picture of how far it's come (and yes, I do need that step ladder to get to the top blocks LOL!)

This started out as the same kit for the throw I've already finished:
    http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/16968.page
I've just re-arranged it a bit and threw in a fabric for the sashing. I just can't leave well enough alone; gotta tweak and change things around! There will be a sashing of the pane fabric all around, and the outer border will be the same fabric as the throw.

Terri, omak and Blue Bell - by the time I get done with this one, I may just be so tired of the fabric that I'm ready to send it on  I imagine I'll have to fight DH for it, though

All the blocks are sashed except for the 4 patches - they are smaller and have to have different sashing sizes.

*** Well, as long as it is going to have a good home, I won't worry so much !
