Yo-Yo Quilt
 

Here is my latest quilt. It is batik yo-yos sewn on a black background. I attached the yo-yos to the black with perle cotton.

I love this quilt!!! I more than love it-and I have always intended to make one!! Never seen one set on black, but it is gorgeous! My MIL made one and didn't attach it to a back so you can place it on top of any color-I'm seriously hoping it falls into my hands someday!!

Margaret, your quilt is just beautiful. One of my favorites is yo-yo's, and I really like that you did something different like not joining the yo-yo-'s. They really pop on that black background. I also like the fabrics you used, are they batiks?

Thanks for all your kind comments. This quilt was a pattern from Better Homes and Gardens Patchwork Quilting magazine. It was a lot of fun. I started the yo-yo's with about a 5" circle. It was great handwork because my only machine sewing was sewing the strips together and attaching the binding.
