My first "quilt" and just for me! 907 yo-yo's and took 5 months. I think I am now ready to try quilting, this board has been inspirational and my "stash" is growing in anticipation of that first quilt. Thank you to all!

Very pretty, Nice weight loss. Great job on both.

Cyn 11-28-2010 05:29 PM

I have been wanting to do this. Will it hold up to wear and tear?

butterflies5518 11-28-2010 06:38 PM

depends on how you attach them together - mine is a bed runner for me and only for show (the boyfriend has been warned!). I attached them with 3 stitches, but if you did them individually and knotted them, they would be stronger. I did try clear thread and they kept slipping apart, so I used Gutterman and ran the thread thru beeswax for extra strength. Would love to see what you do.

KiwiQuilter 11-28-2010 09:44 PM

Oh that is fabulous.

Pickles 11-28-2010 09:52 PM

Love it I have been working on a yoyo quilt for a while since I saw Patti`s last summer. Saw one in a shop over the week end made of 1" yoyo`s that was priced @ $1100. Our work is worth a million

Lynneander 11-29-2010 06:23 AM

very pretty!

rexie 11-29-2010 07:23 AM

Do you 'yo' as you go or do you make all of your yo yos first and then set together? How big is your yoyo? That is beautiful and you have inspired me.

Donna P 11-29-2010 07:46 AM

It's very pretty

Tawnya's Mom 11-29-2010 12:26 PM

I love your choice of colors. I'm not sure if I would have patience to do that. Beautiful quilt.

LeslieSkelly 11-29-2010 01:37 PM
