So happy I bumped into this info today on the quilted furniture I posted not long ago. Some of you may be interested in either seeing more or buying. The designer is:
Patricia Wood & Company, 120 E. Main St., Harbor Springs, MI 49740 231-526-9691 Store 231-526-9692 Fax 231-526-8868 Design Studio Email: The furniture can be seen at an undisclosed shop in Harbor Springs, MI. Don't know any of the prices; you'd have to contact them through one of the numbers above. It looks like this furniture is for sale in all the major cities in the U.S. I knew you would love seeing more of the furniture not only for inspiration but just to enjoy the beauty of it. It is something else to see!! closer view of this sofa from Part 1 the last pic - my favorite - let's drool..... upholstered metal chairs another beautiful sofa |

I forgot .... I have one more picture and it's for all "hosta" lovers as the chair is upholstered with hosta leaves!! (I'm a hosta collector!!) Here's the pic:
Also, I can't believe I bumped into this again! Never in a thousand years did I ever think of finding it again. I was in a hurry the day I downloaded the first two pics in Part 1 and didn't have time to get any info. I had just remembered they were in a shop in California and it was an antique store or mattress store selling them and I thought the price was $1800 or $3300. Too long ago. But here is the last picture. Enjoy. hosta lovers' dream come true |
what a lovely idea, i am going to look for a beat up chair and then have a go at doing one. it really can't be that hard. can it?
|
Very country charmish.
|
What adorable furniture! I am sure the prices reflect the work that goes into a piece made like that! I don't think I would let anyone sit on it if I owned it!
|
Awesome!
So, if anyone is wondering what to get me for birthday, anniversary, Christmas, Mother's Day, or just because you like me....I'll take one of those chairs or sofas. Not picky on which one, I like them all. Just thought I'd toss that out there for ya. lol |
oh my, just one for me too!
|
I'll take the wing back chair, would look so nice in my bedroom!!!
|
Oh My gosh I live about an hour from Harbor Springs. I see a road trip in my future!!
|
they are pretty I just hope they did those quilts specifically for the furniture and they weren't some families heirlooms! If they were, shame on the family for not keeping them in the family. It just looks like so much work went into the quilting to have it end up a chair!
|
So cute it hurts!!! I want one!
|
WOW!!! very beautiful, thanks for sharing
|
oh those are so awesome. i love them, i want at least 2 of them!!

I'm trading hubby a chair for a chair- mine is a regular chair- he needs the straight back and seat height. the trade is from my antique furniture in the guest room. It's faded blue velvet- wonder what I could transform it into????
Maybe some orphan blocks I have around here..... |

Here is an upcycled vintage doll chair using vintage doily with new fabrics. An apple shows the scale of the chair. :D

One of those chairs would be beautiful in a Guest room or great in a quilting shope to display their products! Thanks for sharing and for the ideas.
Oops forgive the spelling, it's late, (shop) |
This furniture is absolutely dreamy!! Wouldn't we all LOVE to have a piece or two of it? :D Thank you ever so much for sharing these gorgeous piece's with all of us today!! I am dreaming, dreaming, dreaming!!
:D :D :D :D |
There are not enough pieces to go around, so they all have to come to ME. They are just gorgeous, someone had a very brilliant idea. Joanie

Very nice.

Thanks for the info, how cute. I have thought about doing that with yard sale finds and thrift shop finds. You can get pretty creative refinishing and upholstering. I would shoot someone if they sat on those chairs or sofa's. I love those. I am so girly anyway, I am drooling all over myself.

To me, it doesn't look like re-cycled furniture. It is so unique, it looks as though it was specifically created from scratch to be what it is ... as Marcia says, "stinking adorable". It looks pretty delicate, though ... structurally, I mean.
|
How unusually BEAUTIFUL that is!! I want to "move in" whereever it is! At a shop?? No Problem - I will pack a back and bring my green tea and shortbread cookies??
