you could do a border in black and yellow or white, make it look like a road

Stitch around the trucks to so they stand out.

Unless the little guy receiving your quilt is a baby, I would consider making it bigger so that it fits on his "big boy" bed. He's gonna love this quilt for LOTS of years!

I made a Thomas the Train crib quilt for our grandson, and then had to figure out how to make it bigger when he outgrew the crib.

Be sure that you have enough matching/coordinating fabric to enlarge it later if you decide it's big enough now.

JMHO Great Job!!!

I agree with everyone else....stitch around the trucks so they stand out. It's just adorable. It looks like the kind of quilt my grandkids would haul around bedroom to living room, so it will be washed often. That requires lots of quilting or it will begin to fall apart. My grandkids would then drag it to my house to fix. Save some time now and put enough stitches in so it holds up longer. My grandson would love it!

This is for my soon coming grandson, and since it is on the angle I don't think he will use it for a regular bed. I assume it will be used on the floor for playtime...at least I am hoping it will be used!! I am sure it will.

This was a pattern so anyone wanting to make one look for The Buggy Barn Website and then the book is called "Those Crazy Kids" this was the "Convoy" pattern.

I should tell you it is a kind of stack and wack pattern and if you have never done one it will test your brain! This was my first attempt - not knowing anything - it was a challenge, but I did it. Just read the directions all first.

some "echo" quilting around the tractors would set them off nicely and give more stability to the blks. great quilt!
