I love everything about it, but I'm especially intrigued by the very pale solids, that look white at first glance, but which are the palest shade of the main color. Wow.

Thanks, everyone! I "might" have the patience to complete this. Time will tell. I'm itching to get going on the La a Passacaglia quilt but told myself I needed to finish this one first.

Honestly EPP is something I taught myself to do to keep busy on a long flight to Europe - turned out I liked it. It's also a good way to appease my DH - he mentioned more than a few times that it would be nice for me to spend some time with him in the evening instead of in the sewing room. This solves that problem as well - I can EPP in front of the tv and "spend" time with him while still doing something creative. We have an agreement that weekends are my main sewing time if we are not out doing something else.

Love your star.

I have just started Rhonda Pearce's Insanity Quilt using 1/2" hexies so really understand where you are coming from.

I have about 3000 hexies cut and need about 7000 more. My goal today is to start cutting the white on whites.

Do you use the AccuQuilt Die for the hexies? I have it and it is great!

When finished, that quilt is going to be off the chart. Beautiful!
