It is a beautiful quilt and I think what is more beautiful is the sharing that is going into in between yourself and your husband. Thank you for sharing. It is lovely to know that patchwork and quilting is not just a means to an end.

Thank You all for the nice compliments. My Hubby is the greatest. He's actually taught me a lot since I've started sewing. He started sewing at a very young age and can actually do a much better job than I can..lol.. I'm glad to have him as my quilting partner. If I don't know how to do something then he usually does..We are building a small log cabin and going off grid in the summer. Right now we go to the tiny little cabin and quilt together in the evenings by lanterns just to pass the time away. It's so much fun and so relaxing.. Here's a pic of our little cabin getaway. We are building a bigger cabin and this will be our little guest house but we are playing in it for now.
That is so beautiful. Sounds like you plan your time together well. Thank you.

That is beautiful! Such a lot of pieces too!

That's great that your husband will quilt it with you. I bet not 1 in 100 would do that.
