I must have missed your earlier post as I don't know the history of why you are doing this quilt nor the proposed finished size. Would you mind, please, a refresher post? Thank you!

Love to paperpiece. Is the finished size of the pineapple a 6 or 8 inch block? is it a purchased pattern or one you did on graph paper? it is going to be stunning! Great job!

It will be a finished 8 inch block. I found the pattern on line and printed it out on news paper. When it done it should be 80 by 80. I am not certain about any type of borders yet I haven't decided what or if I will be doing them. I like to paper piece as well, I find that I am much freer to enjoy the quilting process because I know if I sew on the lines the outcome will be fabulous.

Will the final setting be black and white alternating blocks? Sounds awesome. It's such a time consuming block, but the results are worth it.

I just finished my 26th black block - over half way there on the black backgrounds. Doing the happy dance =0) I have been trying to make a goal each week of the blocks that I think I can get done in a reasonable amount of time, so far I have conquered each goal =0)
