Of course I'll do updates. :P I finished all the Jacob's Ladder blocks last night, they still need to be pressed. Someone will have to pick me up off the floor if they all turn out as good as the first one!

I take the center applique to work with me and work on it during breaks so I hope to have it done this week. I forgot that I still have to do the little berries on the bottom of the stems.

The only blocks left to do are the 4 baskets and I'll start getting the fabric cut tonight.

Wowee! It must be amazing to see something that you have created come to life! I cannot WAIT to see the appliequed center!! Heck, I can't wait to see the whole quilt completed!
I really have to get my EQ6 installed!

I was thinking this morning that it is akin to magic. What we imagine can become real. It is a uniquely human trait to create something out of nothingness.

Can't wait to see the end result. Looks as if it will be a beautiful quilt.

Thank you. Worked on the applique today and got half of the pot done. What a difference better thread makes! I got two sets of BOBBS from Superior Threads, all sorts of colors. That's Bottom Line thread on bobbins for hand work. The thin, fine thread disappears on applique.

It's nice and smooth and just glides through the fabric.
