Wow retro sixties cool! I remember that generation of rockers and clothing very well.... LoL! This is so rockin' fantastic groovy. I love the quilting on it, I bet she had a good time choosing the notes and lightening strikes for it.

Someone had posted a link to a video by Leah Day demonstrating how to machine stitch the whole binding. I used her method of joining the two ends together and it worked beautifully. I'd always struggled with that part of the binding so this will be used again. We sewed to the back by hand.

Thanks for posting the tutoral again. I missed it the first time. She had some good tips.
