My biggest fear is when I give it to Miss 3 year old she will then decide that green, or yellow is her favourite colour!!!!!!!!

My DGD would love this quilt, as she also loves purple. I know what you mean about finding pins after the quilt is together, they can be very sneaky even though I double check. Glad you found them before giving it to her.
