Gorgeous fabrics!

I would make a table runner if you have enough fabric left. Keep it for your table to bring you joy. There was a pink batik in my quilting life at one time. I only put it in special projects.

Don't forget clothing as a source or fabric, hospital scrub tops are a source for cute unusual prints and if you buy a larger size, the available yardage is fairly significant and not too pricey.

I have a box tutorial from Barbara Brackman made of 5" charms...here's the link. Scroll down to the August 24th blog entry. You could use the beloved purple fabric for the outside and other coordinating fabrics for the inner squares to extend your fabric.

Try shopping some stores for tablecloths too, maybe some that are more tropical like beallsflorida.com they carry more beach themed colors, I even saw a flamingo pumpkin they had for Halloween.

I have seen a lot of purple for Christmas decorations in the past few years.

Ears perked! What's that?? Someone desires something odd enough that I might actually have something suitable in my "Humane Society of Fabric"? Not exactly Christmas but possibly close enough. lol, I'll send you a private message.

The purple is special to you. So make yourself a Christmas quilt with it that you can bring out for yourself every year. .... or keep around all year, since it's a color that would pass for any season ;-).

You deserve it.

And I thought I was the only one who hung onto favourite fabrics for that "just in case" project. Pretty fabrics and potholder.

Really like your potholders. Hope you find the fabric you are looking for.
