I also finished this recently. Not sure if I posted or not. It is a wallhanging done in the black lilac fabric. It is a 36" square not counting the hangers. I think I might try and sell it. I love it, but doesn't go with anything in my house. I was thinking $50. Does that sound reasonable?

I like it too. I think that is a reasonable price for a wall hanging that size.

This is beautiful and in Canada I think you would/should charge a little more.

Very pretty. I think you could charge more too but so many factors go into what you may be the most comfortable with. Go with your gut. Not much help, sorry.

Also, thanks for the memory. We had a huge violet lilac and white lilac bush at the side of our house where I grew up. Some days I'd just go and sniff the dickens out of them, being careful of the bees that were there too! I can almost smell your quilt. :)

I am actually allergic to them, but love the smell! I can't be anywhere near them! It sucks because they are soooo beautiful!

It sold! I went to a craft fair yesterday and a guy bought it because he is redoing his house. I am actually going to miss it. If no one wanted it, I was going to put it up in my daughters room. Oh well! I know it will be appreciated. He said he was replacing a quilt that was up on the wall already. And he didn't think twice about the $50 price.

Do not underestimate the price, depending on your area and the cost of the materials and time it took you to make it. Congrats on the sale. Moosegirl

It is hard with the economy today... people just aren't willing to spend what they would normally. This time of the year, people are thinking about holiday presents. I actually did pretty well at the craft fair, which I was surprised.

Congratulations on your sale! It is very cool that he is going to place it on his wall for all to see. I bet you get a repeat sale because of it.

    Very nice work!

Congrats on the sale. It is beautiful. I love lilacs. I like to pick a huge bunch and bring them in. Makes the house smell so yummy.
