Yes, Angelia, you should. There are so many designs that can be created with a log cabin. This was my third arrangement, as the first two that I thought I would like turned out sort of yucky when I got them on the design wall. Your quilts are always beautiful Y0u should do a log cabin.

One of our judges one year declared right off that she didn't like orange in a quilt. I always thought that was information she should have kept to herself.

How could anyone not like purple? Okay, well, I guess it is possible.

I agree with hubs. It is gorgeous and everything meshes so nicely with precise work that makes it just exquisite.

I may just have to take a road trip, perhaps my quilt group might want to take one. I will keep your date in mind. We live in Pecos. I'm also known as the purple lady in my group lol so anytime someone brings in extra fabric or we receive donations, if any purple fabric is in the bunch, everyone always passes it to me immediately. One in our group moved here from Indiana and when she goes back to visit, she always brings us a treat and has made sure she brings me something purple. How large is your quilt show? We have a small one at our Fall Fair the first week of Oct. each year.

Very nice quilt and looks like it would do well in a quilt show.

Last year we had about 130 quilts and 600 visitors and about 12 vendors. I don't think our guild could do a bigger one. My sister is the quilt show chairman and always does a wonderful job. You would not regret a road trip.Dina
