Default Quick Gifts

I made some quick trivets (hot pads) for small gifts for Xmas for our favourite waitresses and neighbours etc. The squarish ones were left over fabric from a door hanging I made last year. The round trivets are from a panel and are the perfect size for this purpose. I used two layers of fabric plus a layer of batting and a layer of Insul-Brite. I learned how to use my circle maker that I found on Nancy's Notions site and it worked well for my circles. The snowmen were a good chance to practice my free motion, too. I hope the recipients enjoy using them on their tables during the holidays!

Those are all adorable. You have me wanting to make some tonight as a hostess gift for my daughter in law.
