Default Quick one with my walking foot

I was looking for something quick and easy to work on this weekend while I wait for (sale) fabric to arrive via mail for two other quilt projects...I met a young couple at my son’s Coast Guard graduation a few years ago (another Coast Guard graduate). They were not able to get pregnant so they adopted a little boy about a year ago and it has been a heartfelt story. Just as wonderful blessings happen, she is now pregnant and expecting another little boy in a couple of months. I thought I would surprise the parents with a nautical quilt. I just used my walking foot to get the job done.

That is adorable! I love the way the wavy quilting mimics the wavy water.

Nice story and kind gift for a family that can use the beauty and generosity of your quilt.

What an adorable little quilt and such a wonderful story of how their family has been blessed. The wavy lines really look cool.
