I rushed through this project to get it done in time for a birthday gift. The top is made of her favorite dresses (and one of mine when I was her age, too), cupcake material, pinks (some from the swaps here) and some fussy cut squares of dresses and dolls. This is my first completed pieced project, first pieced backing, first bigger machine quilting, and first border! Whew! That's a lot of firsts.

Bear with me, I did it in just a week. Several people have told me better to be done than perfect. Thank you for that fantastic advice.

    All my best, RETRO :-D
