I made this Quillow a few months ago, it was the first thing I ever attempted to actually make, let alone quilt LOL

After taking this picture, I quilted it some more to make the boxes smaller.

You did a great job! I love quillows- they are always the perfect gift. Come to think of it I have given the ones I have made away! I may have to make one to keep for myself!

I have a friend that makes these all the time but I have never tried to make one. Maybe I should put this on my "to do" list.

Did you use a pattern? I've never made one. I think it is very neat idea. :):):)

The lady who taught the class gave us the instructions, I will see if I can find them.

I'd love to have the pattern, too. I've never heard of quillows nor ever seen something like this. I like the idea of double use. This would be ideal for my living room. My friends are always feeling cold when watching a movie at my place in winter because I don't turn my heating up as much as they are used to.

These aren't the directions she gave us, but they seem pretty much the same.

I've made several of these over the years for grandkids. They love them. The one I have for myself, I bought at Apple Hill, CA from a craft booth. Would you believe I paid $50.00 for it?
