    Quilt block name assistance, please

I hope someone can tell me the name of this quilt block. It looks to be a variation of the drunkard path. Thanks for you help

To me it looks like partial pieces of a wedding ring quilt and the full rings were not finished. It seems the maker just filled in the empty places. Certainly don't know the name of the blocks but I bet someone on this board will have some answer for you.

It looks like a double drunkards path but a rectangle instead of squared. Or a variation of grandmothers fan. The center appears to be an applique'd circle so I don't think that is part of the block piecing. I'd be interested in knowing block name, too when discovered.

I tried doing the google image search. It told me "Best guess for this image: patchwork". Um, yeah, I had figured that out.

I would think it's an original adaptation of the wedding ring pattern.

Ha--if it's a broken wedding ring, maybe it is called "Divorce"?

Love this board!!! Someone always comes up with an answer. Electric Fan makes sense, but Illinois came up with the best original......Divorce, my laugh for the day!

I think Broken Promises is appropriate for a name.
