I had originally intended this for me, but once I saw it in my daughter's house, I knew it had to live with her.....therefore, I sent it to her Tuesday and she got it yesterday, saying she Loves it! It has found a good home so I'm happy and will think about making another quilt for me ....... someday....:o)

Thank you, Ladies, for taking a peek and commenting. It is done with all batiks....such a joy to work with. And the longarmer did a fantastic job with the quilting. She used variegated thread for an over all pattern. I was so pleased with how she did it.

Sandra.....that's it. Just built around the square. I used 2" strips so with the 2 1/2" strips, it would go faster and use less squares. I had enough fabric left over to use four squares on the back, bordering those with strip after strip for a two sided quilt. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of the back side....Dumb of me! I also had enough left to make a multi-colored binding from the leftovers. Mine was a kit which had 27 half yard pieces. I did have to cut it all though. The kit was called "The Dark Side". All of the batiks are RJ Kaufmann. I got it on sale for $89 a year ago and was thrilled. If you make one, please share.....:o)
