My guild issued a challenge: use at least 6" of the focus fabric (the fabric with the buttons), and fabric the color of the paint chip you draw from the bucket. My paint chip was "maize." (None of the paint chips matched any of the colors in the focus fabric. I feel lucky to have drawn light yellow, rather than orange, lavender, or some of the other colors I saw!) The project had to be at least 24" x 24", and quilted. No other stipulations. Here is my finished entry!

You did a great job... I'm way to chicken to think I could ever get that creative and have never joined a challenge. Good for you. Boy, purple and orange chips WOULD have been difficult, for sure.

You should have the prize all buttoned up.
