I started out just doing quilts for kids, since they sent the fabric and I only had to furnish the batting and labor. Then I thought in my area there are many that could use a donated quilt. Since I don't have to pay postage, gives me money for more fabric. Plus, I've found that for pre-school children needing a nap blanket... bright towels on sale now for college students and a big towel takes care of batting and backing... use scraps...quilt as you go...and you get wonderful nap towels. I get requests for these all the time. I do as many as I can for kids that don't have a special nap blanket. I started a new topic with nap blankets.
