A quilt made for a firefighter

I recently made this quilt for a friend who used to be a firefighter. He likes Mariners Compass and originally came from Ohio. So I made the Mariners Compass and Ohio Stars in this quilt. The Mariners Compass was the first time I tried. I don't think it is something I will do in the near future. Too much of work.

    Thanks for looking!

Fabulous work, though! At least you can say you've done it once, and well!

Your piecing was so precise that I thought the first picture was of a painting. What a beautiful job.

That's a great quilt and I applaud that you tackled the Mariners Compass. Still too intimidating for me.

Wow, this is a beauty. Your Compass is amazing. I'm not near brave enough to try that yet. My French Braid is still in progress; I can't even imagine trying a Compass.
