Your granddaughter did a great job on the rail fence and the colors are great!

Great use of a 'forced vacation'. The quilt is beautiful but the fellowship is the special part of your post. I am sure your granddaughter's friend will appreciate this thoughtful gift.

She sure did do a wonderful job. Do you think she's hooked on quilting now?

That's very modern and youthful looking. She did great picking a pattern and making this so quickly. Great job!!!

Thank you all for the compliments. Yes she is hooked on quilting. My daughter and I took her to her first quilt show at age 4 months. Her other grandma, who has since passed away, was also a quilter so the child has no choice in the matter. She has been working on another throw size quilt. We have had so many snow days, quilting gives her something to do. She started her stash when she was about 4 or 5. Every show we took her to, she got to pick out her own FQ's. She had one drawer in her dresser for them. She is making use of them now.
