This quilt top was made by my grandmother, who lived in a small community near Murfreesboro, TN. It was probably made in the 1930's or 40's. Hand applique and embroidery on the butterflies It is 75"x88". It consists of 42 blocks.

i have a similar quilt top that i purchased at a sale. i was thinking of trying to hand quilt it.
