Love it...I am a vintage girl myself...don't like to sew with anything made after 1950. I need a kick in the behind to get my treadle re-furbished and up and quilting.

Your quilt is gorgeous, the quilting and design is really exquisite.

Wow - you did all that piecing on a hand-crank? I am extremely impressed!! That is one beautiful quilt. I would love to see some You Tube videos of you actually piecing/sewing on the machine.

I'm a bit confused as to what a hand machine is. Are you referring to a hand crank???
Let me know what I'm missing out on LOL

I love vintage machines!!!
Yep she used a Hand Crank to sew the top! That is what makes the quilt so special and most of us here knows what it takes to use treadle to make a pretty quilt, try doing it with one hand! This is true craftsmanship and a piece of living history.

I stand in awe!!

Welcome to the Board! I love your work! Mind sharing where you got the pattern? I can figure everything out except the center. I love applique and yours is beautiful!

I'm in awe too! For me it's kinda like patting your head and rubbing your tummy...I'm just not coordinated enough!
