Please insure it well and send it so you can track it. DON'T tell them you are mailing a quilt!!! When I mail a quilt or blanket of sorts, I normally put something in the pkg. that sort of rattles, often like clean empty prescription bottles or something of that sort, but nothing breakable or that will stain the fabric on the quilt. I do let the P.O. know that there is a rattle in the box, but nothing breakable. ALSO please put both of your addresses on the inside of the pkg. perhaps lightly or safely pinned to the quilt. You did a lovely job, and I am sure that your DIL and the new little one will love and cherish this beautiful memorable quilt. Thanks for sharing.

I cut up my gown for a christening outfit for my son - the quilt is a great idea.

Fabulous! And yes your ribbon flowers do look like daffodils and I love the button flip flops! I bet your DDIL will be thrilled when she sees it. And I give you a lot of credit, I definitely would not want to take on that task.
