    Quilt for my BFF

This is my 3rd rag quilt. Sent it to my BFF in Missouri for an early birthday present. It's been a little chilly this year up there (I live in fl)

I live in Mo and it was negative 16 one morning, then I talked with a cousin in ND and it was negative 30 (no wind chill factored in)and when I told her we had had -16, she laughed and said "bikini weather". Quilts do feel mighty good.

I forgot to take a pic of the rag side before I mailed it off. It's ragged on the other side. On the sides and middle of each strip, around the blue triangle and around the edges. I know it's not the standard rag quilt, but I wanted something a little different. My first two quilts were the standard square rag quilts. This is my third quilt.

My husband would love that. What is meant by a rag quilte? I've read it several times but I'm not sure what it is.
    Nice Job.
    Thanks for sharing.
