This is my first ever quilt. Machine pieced and tied with embroidery thread.

I need to work on my mitered corners and slip stitching, but I am happy with my first attempt. I am already working on two others and have plans for several more in the future. This quilting business is sure addictive!

I am afraid if I made a quilt for my dogs they would tug of war with it and it would be in shreds too fast. It is nice to have something so fun as pink skulls to practice with, keep up the good work

Pretty quilt for a pretty kitty! Now how did you get her to pose on it? Dogs are so difficult at photo shoots!

You DON'T get them to pose. Cats do what THEY want to do. You just have to follow along.
    Rule with cats.....
Dogs have people, cats have STAFF ! ! :)

Love the quilt, and kitty loves it, too! Gotta ask - what is the animal in your avatar?
