This is a quilt I just finished for my DIL who lost her mother to breast cancer. It is a special gift for her BD. Off to the quilter this week.

I have 2 sisters that survived. On the ribbon I wrote "let her life make you smile" Maybe this thought will give you peace as well, Mountain Momma

I love the sunflower and the purple patches....I am sure your DIL will treasure this. Breast cancer touches us all....two of my closest friends are breast cancer survivors, I think your quilt is a beautiful tribute.

That is a beautiful quilt and you can tell there is a lot of love that went into it!

It is a shame she lost her mom to Breast Cancer but we can only hope that one day real soon they can find a cure.

Wow, that is so beautiful and so special. It's brought tears to my eyes, so simple and serene, yet gorgeous with that one beautiful sunflower. Thank you for sharing it with us :)

Thanks all, it's amazing how many have had a loved one with breast cancer and lets all fight for a cure so no more lives have to be lost.
