Quilt for my sister

Just one more row around each side to do. It's OK... first time I've done an Asian themed one. After washing the fabric I found that the center panel was not 24"x36". I had to cut off the outer edge down to the burgundy and added strips of burgundy to the sides to widen it. The top to bottom measurement was way bigger than 36" so I cut that down.

It's prettier in person, as they always are. There is gold metallic all through it and the small strips are very heavily gold scrolls. I found the green corner squares in my stash and it matches the other greens, like in the fan blocks, very well if not exactly.
I just finished doing the last row of burgundy on one side. If I had another day off work I could probably finish it.
