Thanks everyone for the encouraging words.
I will fold it up and put it away to "rest" for awhile.

Gigi...I have never heard of cutting a top into 3" strips and sewing them back together again. How interesting!

Now that this one is "done" I can start on some new ones!

    Thanks again.

I think it looks great, by looking at it I can't tell you had any problems. It is really nice.

I agree. Good advice. Have done that myself. From where I am sitting your quilt looks fantastic.

I really like it. I hate it when there is that kind of problem with a pattern.

What a WONDERFUL quilt! It has such personality!

I'm sorry that you're disappointed with it - but, honestly,

    it's a great looking quilt.

I think it is really neat. I would put a black border on it, if it were mine. I also can't readily see your boo boos. I hate pain in the behind quilts & the pieces aren't right. Barnbum I love your avatar quilt. You posted something about it & I didn't get to reply. I love it. I would have never thought to put that many busy colors or prints together. Really neat.

You may hate it right now, but I think it's pretty. Put it away for a while and you'll probably feel better about it. I love the bright colors with the B/W.

I think it is a beautiful quilt. The imperfections actually make it special. Let me explain. My Great-Aunt always makes one block in each of her quilts with a flaw. She says that her quilts cannot be perfect......because only God is perfect. So, each of my quilts that I make have what I call a Aunt Della block.......it's my way of honoring my special Great Aunt Della and her quilts.

The block may have a piece of fabric out of place, wrong side fabric, or any other little thing I can do to make the block different......yet not really distract from the overall quilt.
