Oh yeah. I thought it was another one of those things you really don't need, but it's great for sewing curves without having to pin anything. There used to be a great demonstration on Brightcove, but I haven't been able to access that lately. It's worth every penny.

You could do it Sheph! It isn't really pieced. You make the moon with interfacing and turn it. Looks sort of like a pancake. Then top stitch it to the blue square. Then the triange gets top stitched over that. If you wanted to do it with applique stitch I guess you could. It would be nice done by hand but I'm on a time frame here and have to get it finished quickly.
