    Ours was really dirty from being stored outside for many years. DH power washed it first, sanded the realy rough areas, sealed it with a clear "sealer" [kind of like a Polyurathane] then repainted all the metal. Good luck with yours. I sure love mine!

    It looks fabulous! I've been keeping my eyes open for a wood ladder for this very idea. And I have to tell you that my husband thinks it's a great idea....he loves "stuff" like that!

    Love it , I too have been on the look out for an old ladder to display quilts on. :D :D Yours is BEAUTIFUL and the quilts are awesome :thumbup: :thumbup:
