I also use the hanging shoe holder for all my fat 1/4s and small pieces of fabric. I have the hanging sweater holders also and they do hold a lot of material in a limited space......
they measure 12"x12" and there are 6 shelves in each hanger........works great

I use the wire shelving you need to put together for my fabrics. my whole closet wall is covered with this shelving, lets the fabric breath, air flow. I do drape a bed sheet over it to minimize dust.

I am finally getting my own quilt room. They are putting the walls on as I type. The noise is unbearable but I am thinking ahead and planning what to do with the room. I am so excited! I have waited for years and years for this.

What a lovely room! I put a closet organizer into the closet in my quilt room & its amazing how much I'm able to store in it. Home Depot has the kind with bars that you attach at the back of the wall, and the shelves fit into it, and are adjustable. Put one in my daughters closet and even though the clothes are crammed in wall the wall, its up there to stay!
