Today I finally made it to the quilt show that I've been trying to get to for the past 2 years. (They added antique tractors to the mix and guess what??? We happened to make it there this year  ) Well...thats not really fair to DH as he did just sit in the truck..he couldn't even get out to walk and look at the tractors...but he didn't mind waiting for me. I would have like to take a little bit more time, but I really enjoyed what I did see! Next year...I'll try to allow more time!

Here are some pics...thought you would enjoy some TN quilts. All but 2 of the quilts in the show were hand quilted. There were several antique quilts and quite a lot of cross stitched and/or embroidered pieced combinations.

Here is the link to my album from today

Those are lovely quilts, and if I knew the show was going on I would have went. McNairy County isn't that far from me and it would have made for a nice day trip for my wife and I plus I love antique tractors!!

Thanks Patti! I keep looking for DJs at all the quilt shows and so far haven't seen any. I plan on entering mine 2 years from now. How's that for confidence?

Hey all you close to McNairy Co TN. folks.....keep an eye out about this time of year. Evidently this is an annual thing...They had a huge sign up in Selmer about it and I ran across a notice about it in a local restaurant.

And Jan....I LOVE you confidence...I noticed...no Jane type quilts either!

Nice quilts, Patti. Thanks for sharing. My favorite was the ladies with the hanky dresses. Thanks for posting a close up of one of them too.

Yup Dorothy...I've ridden many a muddy horse at the Ocra shed in Dancyville.....this quilt show is in Bethel Springs which is just north of Selmer. If you'd like the phone # of a contact..I can give it to you, they can then put you on the mailing list for next year so you won't miss it...just send me a pm.

So many of the quilts were gorgeous! Of course my pics don't do them justice, especially the bright colored log cabin and the candlwicked quilt..now it was spectacular! The "Saucy Senoritas" (with the handkerchiefs) was really something to see in person!
