    What does batting in the binding mean? How wide would you cut it? Is it hard to sew and turn?

    Love the quilts, especially the second one. I know the first one is stunning, but I would never do one like that. You did a fantastic job! What is the name of the pattern of the 2nd quilt?

    Those 9-patch just seem to float out into space, against the white crossing (stars) and the dark receding background. Just amazing. The lucky person sleeping under this beauty will just drift off to dreamland effortlessly!

    Oh my gosh, loved the 4 patch with black. I think black is so interesting in a quilt.
