Our guild just had our first quilt show and I have pictures of two of my quilts I displayed. . Comments to many of our quilters was to be sure to have batting in the binding. Show was a great success.

Really like those quilts, especially the first one. I have trouble working with stripes. You did an excellent job.

Both of them are awesome!!! Don't you just love to see your own quilts hanging in a quilt show? It's so much fun! Thanks for the advice about the batting in the binding.

How cool. The second quilt is dimensional. If you let your eyes relax, it's like the nine patch blocks are floating above the quilt. Awesome.

Both are beautiful, I especially like the nine patch. Was that pattern in a quiltmaker magazine that had all nine patch quilts? I think I recognize it as one on my bucket list.

What does batting in the binding mean? How wide would you cut it? Is it hard to sew and turn?

    Beautiful job...love orientals.
