    This was a quilt top I had and needed to make it bigger when a friend decided she wanted to buy it becasue it matched a painting her mom did for her years ago; since the top was made some time ago (and just never quilted), I no longer had scraps of this fabric, so I set out to find something suitable for additional borders. I soon realized I could find fabric patterns to match, so started working with the colors. I was pleased with the color families I found & my friend was quite pleased with the additional borders; it will soon be off to Charisma to work her magic.
