    Default quilt transformation
    Short version: prized family (brother-in-law) quilt machined washed by step mother - quilt ruined except for 9 inches around the edge.

    I had to piece the edges to make it big enough for the pattern for the bear. It will be sent back to one of the family members.

    Don't you hate boo boos. But look at the great recycle project. Too cute. I bet he does not make it thru the washing machine.

    A wonderful save and I think the suggestion of a little quilt is a great idea. Very cute bear.

    Attaching his own little quilt is a wonderful idea - never thought of that. I have enough left to do that. Thanks for the idea.

    I machine wash my quilts all the time. How did she manage to do that!!!! I am glad you were able to salvage a bit of it.
