Quilt As You Go Christmas Stocking

I think this would be considered "quilt as you go"... I have a new daughter in law this year, with no stocking at my house. Can't have that so I whipped up this little funsie for her. She is only 22 so I hope she likes these wild young colors and prints. I cut the batting first, then sewed and flipped each strip one at a time.

put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

Thanks... I bought those fabrics for a Christmas quilt that never got made, several years ago. They made a good stocking, tho! It was really fun and fast to make.

Super cute! I like your fun and festive fabric choices. That was smart doing quilt as you go. I will have to remember that if I ever make a stocking. I have a case to solve of a missing stocking right now...my son's is no where to be found. It was a knitted stocking. I will use your stocking as inspiration to make new stockings in the future. Thanks!

She should feel "hugged" and welcome by this very thoughtful inclusion in your traditions. Plus, the stocking is cute.

My Daughter in Law loved this stocking! We had an early Christmas with them, and I gave it to her then. She also loved the afghan I crocheted for her and my son... I was really worried about that.
