    Quilted Fur Coat!!!

It's getting cold out and my little girl needs to be warm! Here is Daisy Mae in a quilted faux fur coat. The quilting sort of gets lost in the fur, but I think she looks verrrrry stylish!

Daisy doesn't look too happy to be wearing it, but it will keep her nice and warm.Nice job.

No, not happy at all. Mostly because once it was on she didn't get to go for a walk. She'll be less happy when she gets boots on her feet when it snows!

    She' definitely stylin'.
A dog is not "almost human" and I know of no greater insult to the canine race than to describe it as such.

They are so fast to make! Here are a bunch of patterns http://tipnut.com/dog-clothes/
    I
used the Martha Stewart one with faux fur, cotton batting inside. First I embroidered her name then I serged the edges and then quilted around the spots and added some buttons. I actually wasn't too wild about the square ends so I serged the back into rounded corners. Easy peasy!

Cute coat!! Reminds me of when I used to put coats on our little Yorkie. She only weighed 3 pounds, and would just get so cold going outside. But she hated the coats. Her little face would depict sheer misery till I took the coat off of her...then she'd be happy again.

    I did it too

Daisy Mae looks about as thrilled as my Butch did when he tried on his new coat. The emblem is a Star Trek Security badge. Name: IMG_1670.JPG
