I haven't tried a jacket yet since my few forays into garment making were.....let's just say "Less than successful".... but I love yours and am now feeling the need to try one! I especially love the angled bottoms of the strips where they meet the black---great little touch that adds a lot! :)

Can you tell me what pattern you used to make this beautiful jacket? I have a sweatshirt that my sis wants made into a jacket and I love theidea for this one. I would love to try this design. Would appreciate your help.
