    Quilted Jacket

I always wanted to make a quilted jacket & now I have using batiks. It's kind of loud but I like it. The design is from Quilters World Aug 2009. I did not use a sweatshirt as the base. I used a pattern a friend had, added a collar, zipper, pockets at the side seams & 2 inside pockets attached to the lining. I did use batting on this one so it will be a great spring/fall jacket.

It is beautiful and it looks terrific on you! I don't think it's loud at all, it's perfectly pretty.

I love your jacket and it looks great on you. I like the pattern you used much better than the T-shirt ones.
