Gorgeous quilt!
When we would lose electric in hot and humid Florida due to hurricanes and storms we were sticky and miserable BUT my heart goes out to everyone in the cold. I think that is worse than hot and humid!

Glad you are safe and have the electric back!

I know how you feel w/o all of your things when we had Hurricane Charley we was w/o power for 2 wks in 90 degree heat and sunny to go outside to rake all the crap that flew around. No matter it's an awful thing to go thru. I love your friend hiding under your arm. The quilt you have over you looks pretty. See what you can do by candlelight. I always wondered how the women on Little House on the Praire did things but they wasn't used to the nice things we have. Hugs and prayers to you and all the people who go thru this you never forget it but you sure learn a lot about how strong you can be. Thinking of you all. Bless you for taking time to make a quilt for someone else. Sue

Your furbaby and quilting project is keeping you warm during a difficult time. I have family who have been flooded by the storm, thankfully they are all safe. Hopefully your power will be on soon!
