Hi Carolyn

I dont understand about the FMQ and feed dogs up or what - my only quilt I have made is jungle print and I only appliqued the animals and then ditch stitched after adding the backing and wadding

can you explain what you mean - I do have a quilting foot for my Janome

Loris if you go to 'search' at the top of the page, you can type in whatever you are wanting to know, I reckon you will get more from that than what I could tell you in a couple of lines.

I'm hopeless at explaining things like this, I'm self taught.

But here is a site for you to also have a look at which might help you. http://www.daystyledesigns.com/articles.htm

Don't forget to upload a pic of your quilt!

:D

Carolyn I have uploaded my jungle print quilt on the site - I had a lot of help from my local material, quilt, etc shop - I just ring when at work or home and get some advice - they know it is me cause I am there 'worst nightmare' - I am really still learning and am self taught sort of - great people for the help given

thanks - I have just started a chook table runner for my silly younger sister who lives in Townsville, she has decorated her kitchen as country kitchen with chooks in all sorts - I thought I would send it for christmas or maybe make a christmas runner for her and keep it for her 50th next May - I have a friend who makes trivets(from wood) and then puts a tile in the centre and he has made me two for her of those also - so hopefully her 50th birthday pressie will be all home made - lovely talking with all the aussies on this site

Fabulous quilting. I like the back of the quilt as much as the front.
