This is a magnetic bowl from the automotive department. They have them at Walmart. They have a smaller version at quilt shops for more money. I have another for my regular quilting needs.

I use them too. My first one DH got from one of those bargain bins at a local hardware store. Ihave 3" and 6" versions. Most of mine come from Harbor Freight.

Yes, these are great! I even have one on the ironing board and it hasn't fallen off yet!!! Love them!

Another, prettier one is the base from Glade oil 'candles'. I'll check out the automotive dep't. That one looks strong.

I got one that came with my LA. I love it. I'll have to check the auto dept. to get more. Can never have too many.

I to have several different size one...on the smallest one I put velcro on it and wear it around my wrist when pinning my tops to my long arm...never do they fall out....
