    Wonderful quilt, great novel idea. You have such a great imagination when it comes to designing things. I am envious of your skills. Maybe someday I can quilt like that. Good job Sis.

    No, not at all. It's about 60 inches across, not including the prairie points. The quarter circles easily fit the width of fabric and I think the arrangement of the stripes gives it movement. Once you get that part together it's almost like a whole cloth quilt with a few simple appliques added. A design wall was very helpful in determining the position of the cartoons. I wanted it have a random look and that took a bit of moving things around to get it just right. The prairie points went on very easily they seemed to take to the curve quite well. I added a binding on the back, to cover the raw edges, using the striped fabric from the front.

    Very interesting quilt. I really like it. I just bought the panel and the fabric you used. I may make myself a round table cloth using your idea. Thanks for sharing.
