    The are machine appliqued on to the fabric and I agree they are gorgeous.

    I DO remember the cocoons. Tell Jenny that she has duly impressed us all! Now I wonder how your group is so diversified in their talents and how on earth did everyone learn to do all these different things? (Of course, I know YOU just were born knowing how to do all this stuff!)

    Patti, how I wish. Jenny is taking a course on how to digitise patterns on her machine and she is into dying fabrics and felting etc. We have some very clever ladies in our group.

    There is no tutorial. there is a book called "Japanese Fabrics" by Kitty Pippen with a picture of it in there and my friend made up her own pattern.
